so when people come to Playa del Carmen in member this is all about Pyle apartment where do you take them
what's your go-to place when somebody comes to town okay if they've been has been changed a lot for the last year's it's hard to suggest people where to go so now that we create this community in Casa Guerrero of course I will suggest to come here and have a cafe with the rest you'll have a nice food with bag and Corazon contento and of course practicing yoga with me and with other teachers and take a little cake with lollipop Stella perfect match like four of us like taking all this all this stuff in one place I know it is amazing and I I agree with you 100% of the wife found this place way way back when you just started and it's it's it's a little out of town not very far is it
been a walk of pretty much everything Central Playa Del Carmen and it is an amazing place so that's Marielle Jonathan where do you take people when when they come to town fans I asking them what they want to do so it depends on what they want to do it just show them what they want to see because I smiled and said he has changed a lot whatever people say is in the picture is like way you friend from what is now it's still beautiful still a beautiful places to go but as murielle I always just this place like that coffee the lessons that cakes in the food that we have like everything here is so off this is like one spot to start with Jonathan how long you been working we're right there together three years now three years

Mario tell me about the yoga studio started like maybe 12 years ago when my best friend used to live in this little house of my back and we were thinking about doing something at the back of the garden of her garden was like really 12 years ago we were imagining to do something in in in the garden but it was just a garden with an abandoned pool and we were just dreaming about doing something but maybe I was not prepared by the by that moment and years passed and I and I was like getting more into yoga more into the people more into in what I want to share with all the community because you got his healing is is is a healing path so I wanted to really share in a very nice place but there was no there was no place available to do what what I was wanting
so I was teaching in at the gym or at some other Studios or private classes or even online when the pandemic online is he was she jumped right in when covid started and started doing online and actually I am very thankful with laurentina because she was the first that told me you must go online this is the first day of the pandemic you must go online and she helped me the first day I was recording my videos at your home your home I'm on my way by the way here so I will when he came I met him and he was doing this Cafe and some some day I came and I saw him and we were talking at the table like
wow this is beautiful I talk to him like this this house it was from from my best friend and we were imagining something and he was like yeah let's do something we can talk with with that people and and do it let's just do it and so then it happened like a dream come true cuz when you I don't have kids and I don't want but it has like her but it was like her pregnancy stuff because the first day we say okay let's do it and 9 months passed and we open in the nine months so it was like really like if I was pregnant two months before we open it was like a little bit of like there's a lot of stuff going around is not it's not just like okay let's
open and yoga studio there's a lot of things involved that I didn't know like something happens and then you have to resolve and then you have to start to look for certain people to to make this happen and we are here yeah it's fantastic that's fantastic in Mario I've known you for quite a bit of time and you're an amazing yoga person and Incredibly flexible I mean I I I just when I see her moves and and you know I've been trying to master the handstand and unfortunately had a little risk this incident so I've got to take away from it but I see all the stuff you do and I'm just like super jealous I will when I will I definitely will I'm super excited and it is funny
the open the studio right when that my wrist happened then you had the hand standing project on the weekend and I was like I'm going to miss this one but I will next time and I watch the watch very careful it okay that was great that's fantastic stuff and you just real quickly how do I know you got a class in 10:30 and you're going to jump out of it it's another teacher

yeah and it was pandemic times yes sometimes difficult times gets gets you creative and lots of ideas coming to your mind
I used to have a Cafe Restaurant back home then I decided to come to Playa well to Tulum
then and then it started and she was like I was talking to him like I kind of miss having a cafe you know these coffee passion
started to rise day by day yes and he was like you know I knew up to I know a place that is for rent house
and it happens like that like it was like naturally you know we spoke with the we spoke with the owners they like the idea they went very well that they were down to allow us to make all the modifications the renovations we want it
and first we open it as a restaurant food restaurant breakfast restaurant actually your wife Lara
we used to sell eggs meet another kind of a foot
and with all the table has exactly the the famous Sunday Tablas
and well I shall leave Jonathan still have half the tablet but begun you wanted to make it healthy and it's it's a great it's a great little healthy corner with that so in one of the drinks my wife loves hear you have an employee named Paco Paco Paco Paco came up with a a special drink correct correct actually two of them two of them okay so maybe we'll get Paco on and we'll get a description of how it came up with that and then just give the name real quick it's that I spell coconuts cocoa and it's in the other one he's been Chanda Enchanted
that's a park around here and figure out how he came up with these things they are delicious my wife orders that either cold ones or hot ones on it depending on what kind of mode mood she's in or not but yes
alright so let's move over to Jonathan when they lost her jobs so we just kind of a relaxed and then I guess we're not that relaxed and I was like okay it's going to take you longer so we got to do something I see what I know about business and let some food and we decided after that kitchen ceiling forth from home and that's how we started asking everybody asking all her friends who wanted the tacos de Canasta with you started on Saturdays and we were asking everybody asking everybody like sending messages and Instagram Facebook what's up and asking everybody to try your tacos that's how we started then will just added the borders to the menu and then we started adding adding adding and we use the study like working everyday
someday I'll I'll also invited us to do I take over here at this kitchen. Laughing in love with the kitchen and she was like okay I want to work here when I want the kitchen and we just do like a few months after LOL just invited us to take the place so we can go see the kitchen for Corazon contento and that's how could someone do get this place and everybody's like happy to have this place and all the vegan community and non-vegan Community dispute happy to try or stuff Lala said some of the dishes that they were at the restaurant we just took them as the table would just be nice if we can use the extra man scramble tofu and waffles recipe chicken and Corazon contento so we still having this beautiful Delicious Fruit and I know because I'm a hamburger junkie and when I want to do a cruelty-free hamburger junkie I come here and right now
why can't I come here on a regular basis stuff yeah it is it is the best we had to talk to you as I think I'm sure we did we come here so often. You know I forget to do you know it's our weekly thing we have a lot of Munchies you know what I mean Cravings perfect place to do your Munchies because Mexican food at the specific Mexican style like tacos Tortas sopes all these Mexican typical food would be like if we got it's delicious and it's like super Munchies Jonathan if you were going to recommend the best thing on your men menu and I know it's always hard for the show
don't do that to me because like a lot of people we have like special some days like cochinita tacos what does little people that you asked what's your favorite and they want to tell the different one that's like a different favorite one out but yours you are mine for me is that maybe the gringa is that because of the year with the sweeper store cuz there's one more restaurant that needs to be represented here and that's Lolly and

so before you talk about one of the things I don't know if you know that I come here weekly weekly for the apple crumb I'm that person that steals the apple crumb I think I've come here and in taking whole pies like two or three of them bring them to the office all my staff I got everybody addicted to the apple crumb that is my personal favourite and it's amazing my mother and I would come to Playa del Carmen just press a crumb
so tell us a little bit about Lolly
okay and I started the project like eight years ago and when I arrive I start making lemon pies to sell on Facebook and I started growing like organic and learning a lot of things about Bakery and what's my dream have my own spot to share with more people and it's amazing now we are open for 9 months and is great and you're doing well now right because every time I come here on the weekend there's a lot of people in there always in there for sure yes I have it you know what I haven't tried there I've I've eaten everything in your in your in your store except for the red velvet
yes we make it red velvet bad for your dad's stuff for everybody loves red velvet that is why I definitely am going to make sure the wife sends you a message and it says that we're going on we're going to get some red velvet cuz I want some I have to try it it's amazing for that so you been here for nine months and just a quick question when when your friends and family come to town where do you take them
from the bakery you start to eat this is really a local place and I and I run hotels in in promoting hotels and I'm educating everybody on where to come cuz this is topic of this of this podcast is Hidden Treasures in Playa del Carmen cuz I truly feel like this is a hidden pleasure cuz you can hit everything that you possibly want you got a coffee shop you got your your cakes you got a vegan restaurant you got the yoga and you have all this amazing stuff with in one house so it's easy to spend the day here you work out with her get some drinks after that eat some lunch and then of course go after the Apple so when you bring people to town other than here where do you bring him a local thing that you do with it
I really love to take the power to expose a beautiful and they have really good facilities to put the car and enjoy the beach there and nice yes and I agree I'll do Carmen's who has just a little bit south of us a local Secrets then
but I used to love mamita's before the people came there right yet course of course and that's fantastic so
let's go around the room pay so you're open from when the wind from Wednesday to Monday but Muriel opens on Tuesday she's open daily okay so you're open daily and you have classes and how do we sign up for classes or we have classes from Monday till Sunday actually we have these Fatima yoga on Sundays that this is donation-based and we with the with the donations will help other organizations that that really needs our help so you can come on Sunday if you'd like if you don't want to pay a complete my only class we have packages of classes we have four classes back at we have a 12 8-16-20 classes packages by three of these packages have two months of valuation so you don't have to worry about all know in one month I cannot take the
